The Health Foundation conducted a survey of doctors in private practice. Do they regret their decision? As many as 17.6% answered that they would make a different decision today and would prefer a permanent position.
90% would like less bureaucratic stress. 80% would opt for a more secure and predictable income.
However: 85% still believe that the ability to plan consultation and working hours freely is a real advantage. Around 35% - mainly female doctors - also use this to work part-time. If we look at this question in more detail, we find that 37% of those working full-time would also like to work part-time.

The federal government has launched a program for digital transformation in the healthcare sector: Digisanté. 400 million within 10 years. 50 projects were defined, of which the FOPH took a closer look at 35 and prioritized 21, which are now being launched.
