Three months have passed since our highly successful 9th SAoO Congress at the KKL.

After completing the evaluation form, you received confirmation of your participation, along with access to all video recordings of the interviews with the speakers and the sessions for 90 days.

To continue having access, we recommend becoming a member of the SAoO association. Save the Date 10th Congress of SAoO | 4 – 6 February 2026 | KKL Lucerne

To celebrate the upcoming 10th congress, the Swiss Academy of Ophthalmology will be implementing a number of new features and offering numerous interactive workshops, as well as preparing various highlights. As Switzerland is the ’host country’ for this special occasion, you can look forward to interesting keynote lectures.
The SAoO is also integrating the Cataract Circle into the congress, which will take place on 6 February 2026 at the KKL.

Registration for the OMPA course is now open!

The next OMPA course — the SOG- and SAoO-certified training programme for ophthalmic medical practice assistants — will start on 7 November 2025. It is part-time and can be completed in modules.
