Successful Completion of the 2025/26 OMPA Course

On June 26, 2026, the 2025–26 OMPA course came to a close with a lovely graduation ceremony after eight intensive months.
Twelve female candidates and two male candidates have successfully completed the part-time course leading to certification as an ophthalmic medical practice assistant. All of them passed their exams, and most of them even passed with flying colors.
All participants expressed very positive feedback, noting that they had learned a great deal that was useful not only for their field of expertise or professional work, but also for their personal lives. The atmosphere was consistently positive, and the interactive parts of the course generated a lot of enthusiasm.
Not only are the participants filled with pride, but the instructors are also very satisfied. The training team and course director Dietmar Thumm are extremely pleased and extend their warmest congratulations to the graduates. The Swiss Academy of Ophthalmology wishes everyone much joy and success in their future careers.
